"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering..."

When you experience God's calling and anointing over your life, an unwavering hope settles in. This hope has carried me through the highs and lows of following Jesus through a sea of brokenness, but my God parts the waters. Three years into fighting human trafficking and it hasn't gotten easier. It has, however, brought clarity and many moments of humility as I continue to meet and learn from the most bravest of women I have ever met. I have had the honor and privilege of being an open ear as I hear the needs cry out around me. So when the Lord gave me the vision for a tiny home community for survivors of sex trafficking, my only response was to seek him and walk in obedience to live out this clear and beautiful calling.

"...for He who promised is faithful"

I remember going to the Lord one day in prayer, the weight of this kind of project was weighing heavy on my heart and mind. "The land alone is going to cost a fortune", I remember praying. The Lord, who bends down to listen, clearly answered, "When are you going to ask me for the land? I already own it!". The Lord is faithful and I have seen his faithfulness time and time again. For this reason, I knew that I could trust what the Lord was telling me- that He would give Dear Dinah land. And he has. 19 acres.

"Every good and perfect gift comes from above" James 1:17

We want to invite you to a place called Selah. Selah means to pause, to rest, to take in all that surrounds you. For a survivor of trafficking, their entire world lies in dictation. Every decision is controlled by another human being. While in "the life", they have no grace of determination. There is a 1% survival rate for a trafficking victim. If a victim survives the horrors of trafficking, they are then faced with an unknown and frightening new world- often times one saturated in unattainable expectations. To live through hell and then be expected to get a job, find safe housing, understand healthy relationships, and keep up with the pressures of every day life is daunting at best.

Breathe.

Selah is an invitation to breathe. The vision for our tiny home community is to provide survivors of human trafficking the space to breathe and heal for two years in their own tiny home. They will be given the opportunity to discover life again as they experience the Lord through nature, creative outlets, and the local Church stepping in to show them hope and joy found only through Christ. They will be provided with on-sight medical and counseling, as well as learning job skills, life skills, and space to collide with their Savior.

This project is big. But so is our God. Actually, he's bigger. But this vision came along with a command- "Involve my people". We believe this project must be fully supported and funded by the church and the body of Believers. So now we invite you. We invite you to join us and sew into this community. We need hands, feet, and financial partners. We need churches who are willing to step up and step in to the darkness in order to shine the light of the Gospel of Jesus.

Join us, this place is for them but it needs you. So welcome, welcome to a place called Selah!
